Markayla In Media

Hello,

I am Markayla Brooks. I am currently a graduate student at University of Maryland to earn a Master of Journalism degree. I am a proud alumna of Clark Atlanta University where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts Summa Cum Laude in Mass Media Arts. My concentration was radio, television, and film. In my later years of high school I found my  passion for media. I began to be active with the school newspaper, and that is where my journalist aspirations started. During my matriculation at Clark Atlanta University I held many leadership roles and was active with community service. I am also a student who prides myself on my academic excellence.
